Equipment

****Amazon has sold out of many of the items on our list in the last few days.  I will be limiting the use of most equipment for the time being because of this.  Feel free to look for alternatives

Core equipment

These items are used in classes that involve equipment.  Course descriptions state what equipment will be used.  Items with an * are the most commonly used.

Power Bands*

Inexpensive and very useful!  Power Bands are used for targeted muscle exercises – like toning that booty.

Individual Dumbbells*

The most common weights used are 5 and 10 lbs, but this can vary depending on your strength.  The amazon Basics ones we recommend are not going to be available for a while.  we have linked to another brand for the time being

Power Block Dumbell Set*

These are a little more expensive than just getting a few dumbbells, but far more versatile.  I personally consider this worth the investment.

Power Bands

These longer resistance bands with a handle are great for isolated muscle exercises.  They are very versatile.  Most people will do well with a medium resistance band for most things, but it is nice to have a variety.

Exercise Mat

Rubberized exercise mats make for a stable platform to exercise on and protect carpet and floors from sweat.  Is it necessary? No.  Do we find most people prefer using one? Yes

We get a small commission for all purchases made through these links, so please follow these links when possible.
I only recommend products that I believe add lasting value.

Advanced Equipment

The items below will only be used in Advanced classes or private coaching sessions.

Core Sliders

These are an inexpensive and effective tool for advanced workouts.  I don’t typically use these in group classes, but might recommend them for private training.

Balance Ball

Balance Balls are a great tool for building core strength and total body muscle control.

Bosu Ball

The Ultimate Core Workout tool.   It is a little expensive but will last for years.  I use this in specialty classes and one on one training a lot.

Kettle Bell Set

This is a good price for a kettlebell set.  We will never use these in our standard workout, but these are a great option for more advanced workouts or in private sessions.  In a pinch, a standard dumbbell can work.
